NHB Futbol- North Huntington Beach Futbol Club

Their journey began on June 19 at Soccer City where the team: Alison Jahansouz, Brooke Schulte, Celeste Dominguez, Caroline Famiglietti, Christina Sanchez and Raya Young played three games. The first game a forfeit by the other team led them into game two where they beat the Pumas 4-2 and then defeated Infinity 4-2. In the semifinals they beat a premier team, CZ Elite 2-1 which advanced the girls to the championship rounds on July 10. The girls had to play two tough teams (Manchester United and CZ Elite) on the 10th and beat both to become the GU16 Nike Cup Futsol champs. 340 teams from Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Inland Empire participated in the Nike Cup tournament. Way to go NHB girls!
