Shannon Bergeland was awarded the 10th annual June and George Mitton Memorial Award at NHB's annual dinner on June 12th.  Shannon graduated with honors from Edison High School and will attending San Francisco State Universtiy to study physical therapy.   With a natual left food, she played left wing at NHB for coaches Francisco Flores and Kim Engesser and for Edison.  "She is a dedicated athlete and an exceptional student and I know she will be successful at SFSU", said Engesser.
