Check-In / Game Protocols

Online Check-In

***** Check-in will be done online in GotSport *****

You need your 2023-2024 cards. 

Please check-in by Wednesday, August 30th to avoid any delays.

"Checking-in" means uploading your cards and building or uploading your roster in GotSport. Use the below instructions based on how you are using GotSport. 


Visit the Team Management tab and click on your team.
Click on Team Registrations tab.
Click on the event 44th Annual NHB Cup - Boys.
Click on Registration tab. 
Click the yellow EDIT button next to Registration Form Answers.
This is where you will upload player cards and roster if need be. 

 

If your league/club uses GotSport as their registration platform, do the following:

1. Upload your cards. (2 options)

          a. You can use the GotSport instructions to download and save your cards as a pdf document and then upload them.

          b. You can scan your cards and then upload them. 

 

2. Build your Event Roster

          a. Add your players to the roster for the tournament by using the Event Roster Builder instructions.

******  If you are unable to build your roster, your club administrator may need to "unlock" your account so that you can build your roster. Please reach out to them and ask them to unlock it. 

      

 

If your league/club does not use GotSport as their registration platform, do the following:

1. Upload your cards.

          a. Scan your cards and then upload them. Your league/club may also have digital copies for you to upload. 

2. Upload your Roster.

          a. Scan your roster and upload it. Your league/club may also have a digital copy for you to upload. 

 

Once your Roster (either built in Gotsport or copy uploaded) and Cards are entered, the Tournament Staff will review and check you in. If there is a discrepancy, the Tournament Staff will reach out. During the tournament, you will need to have your player cards and medical release forms with the team at all times. Tournament staff may ask you to show them in the event of a discrepancy.  

 

What is an acceptable PLAYER CARD?

  • 2023-2024 season cards
  • A team must have ALL cards from the same organization and not a mix. (For example: ALL US Club or ALL Cal South) All cards, both players and coaches, need to be laminated. 
  • 5.2. Each team must present player cards of only one sanctioning body (including guest players) for the purposes of insurance. (e.g. a Cal South [USYS] team may not include a player with a US Club or AYSO card).

 

Manager / Game Protocols

 

  • Manager will keep player cards during games.
  • In the event of a conflict, the manager will need to produce player cards. 
  • NHB's field marshals will be responsible for game cards and posting scores. 
  • Managers do NOT need to print game cards for the weekend
  • Manager or coach needs to sign the game card after the game to verify the score. 
    • Look for referee or field marshal on your field to sign immediately after the game. 
    • If unable to sign on your field, go to field marshal tent to sign.
