NHB Black GU14 Defend their NHB Cup Title
After 35 years and three National Championships, NHB Black Girls U14 made club history last weekend becoming the first team two win back to back NHB Cup titles. Thousands of kids have gone through the NHB program over the years but only 16 girls can lay claim to that impressive feat. Coach Francisco Flores’ NHB Black U14 executed all the “Little Things” that they had learned in training and only had “One Thing” on their mind as they won the Flight 1 title in convincing fashion. Four games and four shutouts were dialed up by the girls as they were determined not to make the “Same Mistakes” from earlier summer tourneys. They were “Up All Night” dreaming to add a matching trophy to their book cases. The competition was tough (two CSL Premier teams and two SDCSL tier 1 teams), but they were no match for the determined girls of NHB. Congratulations on a great weekend, and there is only “One Direction” to go from here. CSL Gold awaits. GO NHB!!!!!!
