San Diego added another major attraction this past weekend as the Girls U16 NHB White team joined Sea World and the San Diego Zoo on the "must see" list in America's Finest City. Coronado, hosted the Crown City Classic and the island was buzzing with great soccer as the beachside fields were packed with teams looking to hoist the crystal cup that goes to the eventual champion. Ben Riddle's NHB girls were determined to be the team to do it. San Diego is home to a serious amount of Naval Firepower, which clearly inspired the girls to show off what they had in their arsenal. They were tearing it up all weekend as they won their first three games by a combined score of 13-0. Even the great Juli Veee (former NASL and US National team star) had no answer as NHB throttled his San Diego SC side 4-0. The championship was more of the same as NHB beat Pateadores 3-0 to finish the weekend perfect with four shutouts. It was a great weekend for the team as the families enjoyed the bonding that only away tournaments can produce. Great job girls and good luck the rest of the summer. Go NHB!!!!!!
