Congratulations to NHB GU12 Black for a great run in the President's Division of CALSOUTH State Cup over the past two weekend's. During pool play, the defense stole the show as the girls advanced to the knockout phase without giving up a goal in three games. In the round of 32, NHB beat Silver North champion Crown City United 2 - 1. That victory set the stage for a rematch with Silver South champion Tustin United who had beaten NHB twice during league play. The third time was definitely the charm, as NHB battled back from an 0 - 2 deficit for a dramatic 3-2 overtime victory sending them into quarterfinals. Congratulations to Coach Sean Bartko and all of the girls for a great end to a fantastic season.
