NHB's 1st Annual Alumni Games
NHB Futbol Club is hosting its first ever Alumni Games in honor of its long time president, George Mitton, who passed away last year.
The Alumni games will be held at the NHB field at Hope View Elementary School in Huntington Beach on Sunday, March 15, 2009. The Women Alumni will be playing against the current Girls U17 team coached by NHB Alumni Kim Engesser. The Men Alumni will be divided into two teams and will play against each other.
Alumni who are interested in playing with the Women's or Men's Alumni team for the game should contact Jan Engesser at 714-842-4215 or Barry Kyler at 562-592-3733.
NHB will also be hosting its first ever George Mitton Memorial Cup on April 18-19 with proceeds going towards a continuing education scholarship for a NHB player in George's memory.
