NHB Boys U-19 is going to Hawaii.

After coming in second place in their pool, NHB BU-19 took the hard road to get to the finals of Nationals. Once out of pool, NHB first faced a team made up of Nomads and Three Time National Champions Arsenal. (This Nomad team did not allow a goal in pool play). After 2 O/T's NHB was victorious 2-1.

Next came the Premier League Champions Pateadores. The Pat's only allowed two goals in their pool play and won their quarter-final match 4-0. This game was tied 1-1 at halftime. But the boys did what the coach asked of them at halftime, and scored 2 unanswered goals to defeat the Pat's 3-1.

This qualified the NHB team to go to Hawaii either as Champions of Cal South, or as the Cal South Wild Card. This was to be determined on Sunday June 8th.

NHB faced off against Surf, a team that 2 years ago in Nationals NHB eliminated in the quarter-finals 2-1. The same was not to be true again. Surf took charge, kept their shape, and scored 4 goals on NHB. NHB could only answer with 2 of their own.

NHB will be going to Hawaii as the wild card from Cal South. Their pool is made up of all wild card teams. Two from Hawaii and one from Arizona.

This NHB team is amazing to watch play, they have never had a full practice together as a team, yet they have made it to the Far West Regionals. This team is made up of players from the US National team, UCLA, UCI, UHH, Yavapai, University of Michigan, Chico State, Dominguez Hills, and UCSB and more...

NHB wants to wish the boys all the best as they leave this Friday for Hawaii to start the Far West Regional Competition in Honolulu on Monday.
