NHB Olders Get Ready for National Cup
NHB’s older teams are getting ready for the opening games of National Cup. We have four older teams competing in National Cup; U19 boys Silver Elite, U18 girls Gold, U17 boys Gold, and U15 boys Silver teams.
Coach Sean’s U19 team is by age a U18 team and they finished the CSL season in 5th place in the U19 Silver Elite South bracket with a record of 5-2-3. They will play the opening round of National Cup in Rancho Capistrano on April 19 against AVSC Ambush and on April 20 they face South Coast Bayern.
Coach Sean’s U15 Silver team is anxious to test themselves in National Cup. They finished the CSL season with a record of 8-2-4 and in 3rd place in the Silver South bracket. They open National Cup in Lancaster against Cypress FC on April 26 and against FC San Diego Gold on April 27.
Coach Soto’s U17 boys team were 7-3-1 in CSL league play and finished 3rd in the Gold bracket. They open National Cup with four games in Lancaster. April 26 they play FC Barcelona Red and Laguna Niguel. On April 27 they take on San Clemente United and they finish the opening round on May 4 against the Celtic Harps.
Coach Raul’s girls U18 Gold team plans on graduating out of club soccer in style with a strong showing at National Cup. They finished the season with a 5-5-1 record and in 7th place in the CSL Gold bracket. They open in Rancho Capistrano on April 19 against Long Beach SC and then on April 20 against West Coast FC. They close out the opening round against San Diego Surf White on April 26.
