Olders Have Great Start to State Cup

Three of the four NHB teams in the 2008 State Cup Olders have made it through to the Round of 32. Coach Kim’s U16 girls won their bracket, and Coach Ramon’s U14 girls and Coach Nacho’s U14 boys both advanced as wildcards. Coach Fernando’s boys U14 team won their opening game but then lost two very close games against an undefeated team and a one-loss team that both will be promoted to Silver next season.
All three teams will play in the Round of 32 at the Kern County Soccer Park in Bakersfield on April 12. The U14 girls play at 9:00 am on Field 11, the U16 girls play at 11:00 am on Field 5, and Nacho’s U14 boys are on Field 19 at 1:00 pm. Congratulation to a fine start in State Cup.
Coach Nikki’s U17 girls Gold team has their opening round of State Cup in Temecula on April 12. They play the Eagles at 9:45 am and the Galaxy Fusion at 1:15 pm on Field 21. On April 13 they face the Vista Storm at 11:30 am on Field 22. NHB wishes the best of luck to all our teams in State Cup.
