2005-06 June Mitton Memorial Award was given to 4 outstanding players

The award is given every year to athletes that have played for the club at least 3 years. There is a $10,000 grant that will be split between the athletes that are chosen to help them with there college future.

This year there were 4 participates that received the award. 2 young ladies from the Girls U-17 NHB Black coached by Raul Ruiz and 2 young men that played for Boys U-18 NHBFC coached by Sean Dick.

June Mitton Scholarship Award for the 2004-05 season
The two young men that the award was given, played for the Boys U-17 NHBFC, coached by Sean Dick. Both young men will receive $3000 to help them with there college needs.

The Board of Directors along with the Coach's of the U-18 NHB Black team that played in CSL Premier League this past year had no problem in awarding these young men a share of the $10,000 that was available in this year's Scholarship Award. 2001-2002 June Mitton Scholarship Award

George Mitton, along with his Board of Directors had no difficulty in deciding who to give the Scholarship Awards to this year. The two young men, Gabriel Montoya (9 year player) and Agustin Nunez (6 year player) have been with North Huntington Beach FC their entire soccer career and were coached by Ed Montoya and Daniel Montoya. They're final year will be under the guidance of coach Eddie Soto.
